Casting polyurethane elastomers are divided into two main groups: Polyester-urethane AU and Polyether-urethane EU. Elastimer polyurethane has high physical and mechanical properties that are superior to other elastomers. Ether-Based Urethane (EU) is targeted at applications where flexibility is required at low temperatures, while ester-based Urethane (AU) improves wear resistance, heat resistance and swelling resistance in oils.
